What a great day on Saturday! We had such a great show of support from the Volleyball community. They came out in force to help raise money for our organization. We had three different venues for our 4 person volleyball tournament. Hooters on Harding place sponsored one of the locations and they had a great turnout with 6 teams. Wilhagans off murfreesboro rd also sponsored a location as well and 5 teams participated. Rusty Nail in Hermitage was the last location and they had 8 teams come out to play in support of finding a cure for Neuroblastoma. So many people gave of their time and money to help us in providing financial support to families stricken by Neuroblastoma. We sold tee shirts, wrist bands, had donation boxes that were hand made by Amanda Fore. Between all this and the generosity of all who participated we raised over $3k dollars. This money will go toward helping families with gas cards, hotel stays, and food while their child is undergoing treatment for Neuroblastoma. We are excited and blessed to have so many wonderful friends and look forward to the second annual Volleyball vs. Cancer. Special thanks to Chris Pound aka Yankee for all his hard work. He was in constant motion taking pictures, selling shirts, promoting our cause and getting people to commit to next year. What a great and excited start to our organization.
